Product Change Notification - PC 001014

We would like to inform you that Moxa is going to make changes to the VPort 461A Series.
These changes will be implemented from February 1, 2024.
Please review the details below to determine how these changes will affect your products and/or operations.
What will change?
Some of the key components of VPort 461A Series Video Encoder have been discontinued.
For these component changes, we need to redesign the hardware and software.
The following changes will be implemented in the new version of the product:
- Changing the Ethernet PHY, the flash, and some capacitors
- Upgrading the CE/ FCC to the latest version
- Upgrading to UL 62368-1
In addition, a new V2.0 firmware will be released for the new product, which has the following features:
- An upgraded default account authentication method for network security purposes
- The ability to remove the alarm notification via Email and DDNS function due to network security authentication issues.
Please note that the V2.0 firmware can be used in the older version of this product.
But the old version V1.x firmware cannot be used in the new V2.0.0 product.
The new HW revision and FW v2.0 update will not affect already developed customer applications.
